Fellowship Bio

I am Head of Research at Heidi Health, an NHS Fellow in Clinical AI, and clinical AI researcher with a PhD from Imperial College London. My work sits at the intersection of frontline medicine, software engineering, and health technology innovation.

I design and build multi-modal AI systems that translate complex clinical reasoning into deployable software infrastructure. My focus is on clinical decision support systems (CDSS) that integrate imaging, language models, structured data, and knowledge graphs to support augmented risk assessment and high-stakes decision-making within real healthcare environments.

I am particularly committed to ethical AI, clinical safety, and regulatory alignment. In collaboration with the MHRA and NHS stakeholders, I contribute to technical risk mitigation strategies and governance frameworks for the safe deployment of clinical AI tools.

Alongside clinical practice and fellowship work, I am actively involved in health technology development, focused on translating AI research into production-ready systems capable of meaningful real-world impact.

Fellowship Testimonial

The fellowship gave me the licence and the framing to take on work I could not otherwise have attempted, at a moment when the opportunity in front of me was unusually large. The result was a product carried end to end, evidence generated and defended in front of four regulators, two higher degrees completed, and a considerable amount of teaching and public speaking along the way.
